Had a fabulous stay in a beautiful apartment, loved it.

We had a great few days here in Whitby. The apartment is great, has everything you need and some lovely little touches. Location is amazing with plenty to see from the window, wildlife, trains, rowers, boats and of course seagulls! Short walk into the town and local chippy is amazing.

The place was great, very spacious and fresh feeling. Rooms all spotlessly clean and comfortable. Easy 15 minute walk into town with a toddler in tow, pleasant walking along the harbour. Located in a quiet residential area with nice views of the river, we would stay again.

Couldn’t fault a thing in the apartment :)<br/><br/>Nothing we didn’t like, extra set of keys would have been perfect, only when we left the mother in law in the apartment she couldn’t get out of we took the key, and if we left the key we would have to wake her.

The apartment was so stylish and spacious. Everything you needed and more. Everything in good working order and comfortable beds too. <br/>The area was close enough to walk into Whitby and felt safe in the area.<br/><br/>Such beautiful views of the river just a shame not to able to sit outside. <br/>£25 damage deposit with only £15 refundable <br/>Which don’t really understand why all is not refunded

This apartment was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The area is peaceful with nice views over the river and the town and seafront is only about 15 minutes walk away, perhaps less for younger people! We spent 3 relaxing days here and would definitely come again. A couple of points to mention is the fridge,which froze everything in it even after turning it down, and a hand rail in the bath/shower for the less able would be good addition.

Well maintained and presented property, comfortable super king beds and nice bathroom. Shower was adequate.<br/>Kitchen compact but very useable, all the necessary equipment and dining table adjacent was handy and comfortable.<br/>Lounge was comfortable with lovely view across the river.<br/>Overall great location, easy parking in a reserved space.<br/>Quiet location with no noisy neighbours, easy 15 minute walk into town centre, loads of eateries of varying prices and standards, would recommend very highly.<br/>Only confusion came on checkout, e mail the night before said noon, whereas every other communication said 10am, called host and stay the managing agency and although I knew I was speaking to a call handler at Airbnb in USA she maintained she was working at host and stay in Uk. Airbnb don’t pretend please, be honest with your clients.

Super location with a parking space, easy to walk into town. Views of the estuary and boats, and even the trains. Apartment clean and modern with everything you need for a great break. Super comfy beds<br/><br/>The venitcan blind in the bedroom was damaged, and the shower wasn't a consistent temperature (bit annoying)

It was perfect apart from the confusion on the last days with departure time which had us rushing to leave when we thought we had plenty of time. Text arrived at 9.02 contradicting the departure time in the guidebook and email.

Easy from time of booking and great communication and instructions. On arrival we found the apartment to be spotless and everything we needed was supplied. The view out on the harbour was a wonderful extra. Quiet area and having a parking space made things a lot easier and cheaper during our stay. <br/>A folder giving a few tips about the local area was supplied and really helpful in choosing local restaurants and cafes. <br/>Overall a fantastic stay and wonderful accommodation we could not fault- Thank you!!

The apartment was really well appointed, very spacious and in excellent condition. <br/>The location was great and well situated for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area.<br/><br/>The 4pm check in time is a bit late coupled with the early check out time of 10pm. A 12pm check out time is stated in the property guide book. <br/>The heating in the living area could do with some instructions, I set it more by trial and error. <br/>The shower is a bit under powered.

From the start of the booking process until we left I received about twenty emails from host and stay! Most of them repeating something I’d received by email previously. I found this irritating and slightly stressful. The property was lovely but the booking process did not work well for me.

Lovely place to stay for a few days at Easter. Really easy to walk into Whitby town centre where there was lots of restaurants & pubs & visiting nearby places like Runswick Bay & kettleness was easy. Overall had a great stay

Fantastic apartment in a great location within easy walking distance of Whitby town, shops, pubs, beach and sights. The apartment was easy to find and parking was directly outside. Once inside it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, exactly as described. We would definitely recommend.

Spacious rooms, lovely river views, very well equipped (thumbs up), comfortable large beds and close to the town. Property seemed secure and check in/out was easy. Plenty of information was given about the property prior to our stay. The television had plenty of choice, wifi was good and all worked well. Property was a good temperature for us all.<br/><br/>The property was clean overall, but not as clean as I would expect, although I have high expectations. Ran out of hot water on the third night of our stay. I phoned the 'host and stay' number for some guidance and left a message. No response?? 3 days later and still nothing.. Had to boil the kettle a few times and wait for the boost function in order to have enough water, this goes against the guidance of 'hot water will be available twice per day'. Shame we didn't even get a call back the following day.

Great location and place to stay for a short break. Walking distance to town so no need for car unless you are exploring surrounding area. The host was on hand to make sure we had everything we needed - thank you. We are really keen to return :)

A wonderful property situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Whitby. Just over 10 minutes walk alongside the estuary to reach the swing bridge. In the evening we would recommend stopping off at The Middle Earth Tavern for a drink - half way along your walk in!<br/>Apartment is tastefully furnished, very well equipped and spacious with the added benefit of a parking space.<br/>Owners were helpful in splitiing one of the King Size doubles into two singles - perfect to accommodate family of 4.<br/>Beautiful views along the estuary from the lounge and master bedroom windows. We even saw the steam train pass once each day.<br/>Restaurant recommendations- The Star Inn and Trenchers.

The apartment was exactly as pictured! Parking and check in were both really easy. The location was lovely and just a short walk from Whitby’s centre as described around 10 minutes to the main bars and restaurants. The bed was extremely comfy! We would definitely recommend this apartment and stop here again ourselves.

So not sure i realise these things are personal to me but other than this it was perfect. <br/><br/>There was also a little noise from the apartment above with hearing people walk about which can be expected in an apartment so didnt bother us too much<br/><br/>Spacious, nicely decorated, everything you need, great location and views out the window.

Excellent acommodation i would highly recommend to anybody wanting to be on or around Whitby ..great views of the town. Town less than 10 min walk nearest pub and chippy 5 mins ...really clean and comfortable stay with large beds too ..

Lovely accommodation, the bedrooms are a great size with ample wardrobe space. Great living space too with a wonderfully stocked kitchen in terms of cutlery and plates etc - perfect for self catering especially with children. <br/>Only a 5-10 minute walk into Whitby and lovely views of the estuary and the steam train across which comes and goes and is lovely to watch/listen out for. <br/>Would highly recommend!

Freshwater View was immaculate and extremely well appointed with very good attention to detail. Well equipped kitchen with more than enough crockery and glasses. The bed and sofas were comfortable.The location very good - a pleasant walk to the centre of town. Parking was a bonus and the block was very quiet. Wonderful sunsets from the living room window.<br/><br/>I had no problems. Not a fan of multiple cushions on beds but hardly a problem.

Perfect! Beautifully decorated apartment with lovely views of the River Esk. We come to Whitby every year and this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Equipped with everything you need to cook in if you wanted too. Really comfortable beds and only about 15 minutes walk to the main shops and restaurants. Would recommend this to everyone!

What a beautiful apartment! We had everything we could possibly need, all of the extra touches didn’t go a miss and was truly appreciated. The location was stunning and a short walk into Whitby, we had a jam packed three days with so much to do in the area all within driving distance. If your looking for an amazing Italian restaurant we came across Moutreys restaurant in Whitby and what a treat that was!

Location to the town and quiet residential area. The standard of the accommodation was very high, clean and well thought out.<br/><br/>This whole SUPERHOG registration process was a complete and utter pain, it didn’t recognise the photo on either my driving licence or passport and the contract was borderline scary.. I’d go as far as to say I won’t book any other accommodation ever again if I have to resubmit all the nonsense with Superhog again, it clearly doesn’t work. If it wasn’t for Lilly doing manual registration for us at the 11th hour then I don’t know what we’d have done. As previously mentioned we can’t fault the accommodation but you’ve lost us as a future customer because of Superhog verification process, it’s just too hard and temperamental.

The block of flats is very noisy and the flat is on the ground floor, bedroom window overlooking the busy car park. You can hear other persons in the block of flat coming and leaving until quite late in the night as people may have been in the town having drinks, coming back late. I definitely would not recommend to a family or couples. Amenities are very basic, perhaps because it’s newly owned. There was stale food such as bread left in the cupboards so the cleanliness was less than ideal. The company that rents the property (Host and Stay) extremely unhelpful and debit the payments incorrectly from you account, still in query regarding charges now. There are plenty of lovely places to stay in Whitby, this perhaps is not one of them.

Location was excellent (as we know Whitby, it was easy to work out where we were and make our way to the locations we were visiting. It's a very attractive location and the apartment was very pleasantly decorated.<br/><br/>I have only two criticisms - the extractor fan in the bathroom is very noisy and runs for 20 minutes after the light is switched off - very distracting when trying to get to sleep. The second is that the venetian blinds in the bedroom (although great decor and effective for privacy) do not block out external light. Blackout blinds would be very helpful for most people

Gorgeous apartment - less than a 10 minute walk from the Town with the added bonus of free private parking. Lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. The bed is amazing and huge! (there were 2 bedrooms - we slept in the bigger bedroom)<br/>it was lovely and quiet - however we did hear the train passing around 6am ish which was mentioned in the description and so was fine and expected.<br/>Lots of storage and wardrobe space.<br/>Plenty of info provided on local attractions.<br/>Highly recommended and we would stay again :)

This is nicely presented apartment which is conveniently located just a short walk from the centre of Whitby. Check in was excellent, very smooth and easy. We had a couple of minor issues with a leaking tap and a dishwasher that stopped working but the host was very responsive and communication was excellent. The leaking tap was rectified very quickly but unfortunately the issue with the dishwasher could not be resolved before we checked out. Not a major issue as we simply hand washed the dishes.

Excellent apartment. Almost faultless. Stayed here with 2 young children. Even found some unopened beach toys in the cupboard for the children. Equipment and facilities at the apartment fantastic. Everything really good quality. The comfiest Airbnb couch ever! Really quiet in the apartments. Hassle free check in. Extremely clean. Location 10min walk from town centre. Quality apartment, best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Excellent customer service. Will stay here and with you again.
