Location perfect for exploring Whitby It is set out so well with everything you need well appointed with nice touches. Loved the decor and perfect for our family. Nothing was perfect.

Beautifully decorated and layed out, incredibly clean and perfect for a group of 5 to socialise. Super close to all the action in Whitby but still out of the way enough.

Stayed for 2 nights so difficult to rate properly. Location is close to the centre, an easy walk. Property is three-storey with kitchen/lounge on the top floor. Modern property with all you need for a stay-cay. Check in 4pm - would’ve liked earlier. Check out 10am, would’ve like later. Being picky: Dusty lampshades, damp (?) patches in lower ground bathroom. Rear neighbours lighting bonfires Saturday morning which smoked the place out. £200 per night felt a little excessive though comparable throughout Whitby. I think £150 per night more acceptable. Would I stay again? Maybe.

Location was fabulous and had a parking spot. Rooms were decorated modern and generally it was clean. We would stay again. Loved the guidebook we were sent prior to arriving with all useful information. A welcome hamper would have been lovely Kitchen ready for a deep clean Sink drainer was rusty Walls scuffed in paces need repainting

Great location with only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The property was easy to find and good to have free parking provided (the only issue was had having a larger car was getting into the small parking space had to reverse up and then climb out of the passengers side). The house itself was clean and tidy through out and perfect for a family of 5. Would definitely stay here again ??????????

Don't agree with damage waiver process. Didn't receive message to inform me of requirement for damage waiver until I had to chase management to provide address and check in process for accommodation. After making payment for the damage waiver I still wasn't provided address and check in details and had to chase management for these details whilst already in the town, pulled over in a lay by.

Loved the apartment, lovely decorated, clean and everything you could ask for was provided Only bad point was all the stairs but it wasn’t a massive issue for us was a little bit noisy on a nighttime but it calmed down around d 10.30 ish

It was a lovely place to stay. Definitely not for someone who struggles with mobility due to steps up to the property. Would not have booked if I had known about the amount of steps. Not clear in description of property. There needs to be a warning. Also the parking is very tight. We actually damaged the boot on our car.

Excellent location, quality decoration & furnishings, comfortable extras of T-bags, coffee, milk, dishwasher tabs and toiletries No hooks for coats, no hooks or rails for towels, no outdoor table & chairs (which were on equipment list) advertised as large double beds but simply doubles and 1st floor mattress smaller than base. Bathrooms need painting as walls badly marked.

Really nicely decorated, good sized rooms, 2 bathrooms, really centeral Living room on top floor, but I know you can't do anything with that

The toilets are dirty…sorry but its disappoint us,the place was ok,but not so clean.Parking was too narrow.

The near new accommodation was superb. Beautifully presented and very clean. All bed linen and towels were provided. It was well positioned for walking into the town. A minor point but there were no rails to hang up towels.

Central location with great views of Whitby Abbey. The apartment was beautifully decorated.

The location was very convenient. It was a clean and well laid out property. No parking as the allocated space was occupied all weekend by a silver truck.

lovely place have stayed before clean and close to centre , beds comfortable everything we needed we had to park at West Cliff carpark which was a challenge as very busy hard to get a space anywhere as after driving past twice there was another car in the parking bay , it did leave later but was back again.. aside from knocking on every door there wasn’t much we could do I guess some people are just inconsiderate.

The key collection was very easy. The location was great. the rooms were generally clean. The link that was sent as a part of the welcome suggested the check out time was as 12pm. The email said 10am. Not sure which one was right at the time of leaving. Bit annoying to be honest. How can someone leave at 10am?. The cleaners were there by 10:15am. May i suggest keep the information consistent throughout. The toilets had no toilteries i.e. no handwash in any of the bathrooms. It would be good if they at least provided that or say that in the description so we could have got our own.

The house is very nice. Nowhere to hang towels to dry. Not even a welcome tea bag. No soap in bathroom. I think I’m used to super hosts.

beautifully decorated, light & airy. well situated for the town, supermarket & station 37 steps up to the property & then 3 floors were difficult for my sister who is awaiting a hip operation & my brother in law with Parkinsons

sehr zentral gelegen, Haus ist sehr schön der Parkplatz ist eine Katastrophe. wir haben nur einen kleinen Golf und hatten arge Probleme in den Parkplatz zu kommen. Der Abfluss beider Duschen kam mit der Wassermenge nicht klar. mir scheint dass es ein Problem mit der Kanalisation gibt. Man musste die Dusche zwischenzeitlich aus machen damit das Wasser ablief. Die Toilette hatte das gleiche Problem.

Booked on behalf of my father and his friend and children. He said "I'd definitely stay there again." Plenty of space, clean, well equipped and really comfortable, and very central. The management company were really good at keeping in touch to see if there were any problems (there weren't). All good!

location was great it was called a cottage but it was a new build the parking space was virtually inaccessible unless you drove a smart car the steps to the property were steep I don’t like upside down houses general access to the car park was terrible the bin storage was floor to ceiling nags and doesn’t appear to have been emptied in some time

Location was good. Two bathrooms - both clean (powerful showers). Free parking space. Good selection of utilities & facilities. Cleanliness - the house needs a deep clean. The oven hob was dirty & greasy. There were bits from previous tenants found under the sofa & clothes hanger. Rubbish situation - of the 2 allocated rubbish collection rooms - 1 was locked & the other was overflowing. The refuse collectors did not clear on 2 occasions during our stay, despite arriving to do so, thereby leaving a health hazard & stench of a smell during temperatures of 30+ degrees. Location of parking space - on a steep hill, sandwiched between 2 walls and another parking space. Emergency access was prohibited (as seen when an ambulance could not gain access during our stay).

I enjoyed the location, comfort and cleanliness of cottage There was nothing really I didn’t like. Only thing was trouble with post code and it didn’t get us to the location but we found it by chance in the end after having to ring hosts.

Near the center but also quite at night, you could only here the seagulls. The cottage was tidy, nicely decorated and furnished.

The location was brilliant and it was very clean The parking space was ridiculously small. Some fans would be welcome in very hot weather

The property was perfect for a holiday and the location was good being very near all the shops, Cafes, takeaways, station, bus station, and park. The only drawback was the number of steps to the property. After walking round the town I found it difficult to get up all the steps as did one of the party who has CP and finds it challenging. The car parking space was smaller than the car.

The Cottage was beautiful, decor was lovely, beds were clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic. The steps up to the cottage and then another 4 flights of stairs inside. This would be an issue for people with mobility issues. Also no cupboard space for food.

very smart and well supplied with everything we needed. it’s light and airy and comfortable. Not enough information. I didn’t know that it was 64 steps from entrance of the complex to the living room and my 81 year old father found it tough

Great property in a great location. Very clean & comfortable. The parking space is very tight & when the car space behind is taken it can be very difficult to get your car out. We had to go & ask the people to move their car so we could get ours out. If they hadn't been in we would've been stuck.

Amazing location, modern and bright with a view over to the Abbey - beautiful spot to stay in Whitby The beds were a little uncomfortable but wouldn't prevent me form staying again

We liked how clean it was and how we got little extra touches like tea coffee milk sugar,cleaning products. We couldn't get the car parking spot for lightkeepers cottage,there was a car parked in it.

Just stayed here from 11th to 13th March,what a beautiful place very modern exceptionally clean.Everything was provided from tea,coffee,sugar,milk all cleaning products,we all could have stayed longer had a very enjoyable stay in fact we have all said we will be back.Only negative we had was a car was parked in our spot all weekend so we had to stay in some other spot and hope we weren't inconveniencing others,but we had a brilliant time thank you.

ideal location and lovely decor a lot of steps to the property itself, especially with the lounge then on the 3rd storey. appreciate this is the design of property and can’t be changed.

Lovely central location. modern and bright decor. Great water pressure in the showers. you could feel the springs in the mattress in the downstairs bed- not that it is worn out just that the top layer is thin.

This townhouse is lovely, with very tasteful decoration and although not huge, plenty of space for 5 of us. The kitchen/dining/sitting room being together made it very sociable The steps are worth a mention - on the site I booked on it didn't make it clear that there were several up to the property, although having looking elsewhere now it does. That wouldn't have put us off but it could impact others. It's very central with just a few mins walk to the town centre, and although we only had one parking space and two cars, it was easy enough even at a very busy time to find paid parking, which also wasn't too expensive. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there is a small but nice outside space (though we couldn't find any outside chairs which might be a nice addition). To make this place perfect, I'd say invest in better mattresses - might just have been us but we all found them not the best to sleep on - luckily plenty of fresh air and walking meant we were so tired it didn't matter too much, but they just didn't seem to be up to the standard of the rest of the decor and fittings. We would def stay again at this property.

Lots of positives but some negatives too. Stylish and nicely decorated throughout with lovely colour co-ordination. Excellent selection of crockery, glasses, pans etc everything you would need. Good proximity to town .Property very clean. Negatives - Allotted car space was difficult to park in - on steep hill and in corner. More steps than "a number of steps" 36 steep steps up to the property and lots more stairs inside. Very poor quality mattress in both double rooms - thin, lumpy, could feel bed springs. Neither had mattress protectors which is a hygiene issue! Blinds missing from 2 small windows in double bedrooms - privacy issues & light streaming through in morning. Bathrooms lovely and sparkling but neither had towel rails or hooks and nowhere to put toothbrushes etc, Bath very slippery - need non slip mat. 4 dining chairs for 5 guests.(No additional chair available in property) Access via more steep curved steps to a little outdoor decking area but nothing to sit on!!
