Everything especially all the kitchen was clean as we love to cook our own food plenty of pots pans ect as it was Christmas we were cooking Christmas dinner and the complimentary coffee was such a nice touch and to sit with a glass of complimentary wine on arrival Everything was just perfect .The little outside space was very relaxing just added bonus really. Such a comfortable apartment didn't want to leave. The WiFi was a little unreliable perhaps because we were lower floor but wouldn't put us off.

Absolutely everything, property was easy to find because of all Communication from host prior to going. Apartment was of a very high standard and had everything in it that you needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Beds were comfortable. It was spotless. There was a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of of wine gifted which was lovely and to top it off there was an amazing Christmas tree in the living room. Fantastic place, we all loved it. Leaving

Stunning apartment, no expense spared on furniture, decoration fixtures and fittings . Everything thought of in this place superb inside and out. Was real luxury as you walk through the door. About 5 min walk to central Whitby. We arrived later on that night and the apartment was so warm and cosy after a long cold walk. We will definitely be coming back as this is the nicest place we have stayed in thus far in Whitby. Only one slight thing we would have liked is a earlier check in than 4pm other than that perfect

Lovely apartment, great location & very nice. No WiFi, yes I was told prior to visit but being a basement, we had no signal on phones to get internet either . Also only one shower wasn’t great .

Beautiful apartment, spacious, clean, everything you needed, nice little patio area round the back, both shower rooms had towels and shampoo, als you get a parking permit while youe there.... a little piece of heaven in whitby.... we loved it. Alan

Lovely apartment furnishings Location for pavilion As our return from last year .. This time no WiFi no towels which someone did drop of at 12 tje next day No hot water Bad communication With no WiFi or signal being in basement I spent half my trip up on the path making tel calls

Excellent flat in a great location on the cliff top, close to the Pavillion and a short wander down the steps to the sea front. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything you need for a self catering stay.

The property was very well furnished, very comfy beds also ideal location for everything we wanted to do I understand the property was in a transition period, having my 16 year old daughter & her friend in the property for the week having no internet was a real pain also parking was an issue, having to pay £10.80 for 24hrs was costly for the week

Everything Especially the super king beds. That the internet did not work and despite contacting the owners it was not repaired. Not easy when kids want to stream Disney+. Also advertised as a ground floor when it was a basement.

Layout of the whole apartment Modern well equipped kitchen and appliances ( although no coffee machine) Shower was not powerful Atrocious WiFi worst we have ever experienced Few mould marks on shower tray . Overall could of been cleaner , dust and webs around bedroom

The location was great, the beds and kitchen were good. The smell that came from the shower ensuite room made you choke on the first night. Had to keep the fan on and open doors to the courtyard as often as possible. We did complain and they said they would send some one round. This didn't happen. They also deleted the complaint form from their reply so we couldn't complain. They could do with a shower over the bath too.

Well presented apartment in excellent location Bad smell from shower drains in en-suite. Parking permit was not left for us on day of arrival so we had stress and cost of finding parking in pay & display until afternoon of second day.

Bathroom door lock was in a wardrobe draw and should have been repaired before our arrival. .and a dish in a cupboard had a big chip in .but as we only had coffee and tea in the apartment that did not bother us.we ate out all the time.and the parking permit was not there when we arrived and cost us £10 -80 to park the car for 24 hours .

Beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable with the added bonus of extra large beds. Location excellent a short stroll for the centre Everything was perfect except for not being able to contact the host for a parking voucher and having to search for overnight parking!

Very comfortable and modern Cleaning wasn’t 100%. Strange smell were washing machine was. Patio area needed sweeping and tidying. Some chip on dishes etc.

The property was exactly what we saw on the internet, extremely clean , no problems and would book again with Host and Stay ,it is very easy to pickup the keys ,from there you can go and enjoy your holiday Nothing ,everything is there for you so you can relax and enjoy the rest of your holiday

Nice property, excellent location,.well stocked. There was no manual for the oven,hob,or microwave not good .I did try to contact someone but no response.

Clean and comfortable with the perfect location Maybe a tad short on supplies

Immaculately clean and tidy. Everything as described, with prompt replies from host when approached for some minor queries. We only have two minor suggestions. Firstly, there is nowhere to store food in the kitchen. A small cabinet/pantry would be useful. Secondly, the shower does not have anything to hold soap/shampoo. Even a cheap rack hanging from shower rod would suffice.

Stayed here in August and it was wonderful so booked again for October for a few nights away as my wife had recently been unwell. Both stays could not have been more different. On entering the apartment we were hit with a sickening, terrible sewer/ drain smell. As it was late we decided to leave complaining until the following morning. We bought bleach from local shop and poured down drains..Sink,toilet shower..Didn't work! My Wife complained next day and host and stay said they would send a maintenance team. So we vacated until late afternoon.Still no one had been. We called them again. This time they sent a very nice lady with bottle of wine and a bottle of bleach. She proceeded to clean the en- suite bathroom which had mould on the walls of cubicle and dirty areas around toilet. She even told us there was a problem with the drains in the building and quote"Its always the en-suite" She did a great job and even partly masked the smell which soon came back full force during the next hour. More phone calls were made without satisfactory result. Host and stay even have the cheek to charge a cleaning fee. Cob webs in corner of bedroom. Hair in the top drawer of sink unit in en- suite. I could go on. Stay here at your peril!!!

Very modern clean and extremely comfortable. No written welcome pack, it is on the internet but no signal in our apartment. The use of scratch cards for parking needs more advice.

Brilliant place to stay exactly how it was explained brilliant position

Well located, beautifully maintained. Nothing at all for us. If you struggle with mobility perhaps it could be seen to be a little on the steep side for walking up from the harbour but absolutely perfect for our family in terms of location.

Nicely appointed apartment. We were told it was on the ground floor but actually it's lower ground floor. Very comfortable beds and nice and warm. The en suite has a problem with a smell of bad drains which also spread to the bedroom. Parking permit was not in the apartment on arrival creating a difficult situation with the parking attendant when we arrived. Parking is difficult in whitby in the middle of the day so was not very convenient.

Brilliant location. 7 mins walk into town and 2 mins to jawbones and beach. So clean and comfy. Brilliant facilities for self catering. Quiet. Organised instructions. Radiators were easy to use and heated the apartment well. The parking token was fantastic as you could park right outside the building. Comfy massive beds We booked very last minute so that might be the issue but paying the £10 admin charge wasn’t factored into the price and I had to chase for the codes to the door on our way because the company hadn’t told the host we had paid the deposit money. The hot water didn’t fill the bath and I was looking forward to a nice bath.

Lovely place and as described but customer service was disappointing. Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. As we had a toddler and Storm Babet to cope with I asked if we could check in earlier and was told no because it takes six hours to clean a 3-roomed apartment. On arrival, we saw some issues so I emailed immediately (16:15) to let them know and also commented about the one teabag and one coffee sachet that was left for us. Also, there was no washing up liquid. Before and during our stay I received many computer-generated “we’re always here for you” messages. The human’s response to my email came after 16 hrs and said that one tea bag and one coffee sachet is the “starter amount” (for four people!). Very comfy beds. But one of our group is allergic to feathers and there were no synthetic pillows so had to sleep flat on the mattress. As we only stayed 2 nights and the response time was so slow we just put up with it. With better customer service this would be a five star place!

The flat was amazing, beautiful, clean, everything we needed. My husband loved the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom ? The situation of the flat is perfect, the communication from start to finish was excellent. We will definitely be going back and have already recommended a stay to family and friends. We have been coming to Whitby for many years, this is possibly the nicest place we have stayed. Thank you ?

The impact of the apartment on first entering was awesome -the reaction of my granddaughters was a sight to behold! The place was spotless; beds, sofas and dining chairs all comfortable, shower great as were the interactive mirrors in the bathrooms. Water is heated by immersion heater, so don't expect to run a bath and someone else to shower straight after - the hot water is not on demand as stated in the information given. Plenty of storage in fridge and freezer. Crockery, cutlery and glasses are adequate but not extensive. Cooking utensils and pans etc are minimal. However, that didn't impact our stay; we loved the apartment, it was calm and sumptuous, and I hope we may return in the future. The location is great - if you are mobile, everywhere in Whitby can be reached easily on foot, but particularly convenient for the beach. I suspect there was less traffic this year, but nearby parking was easy and free with the scratch card provided. In a nutshell, we had a fantastic time.

Everything perfect ? Nothing

The location was great. The apartment was modern and really clean. There could have been more equipment in the kitchen, such as something to be able to place hot pans on, more proper glasses (although the plastic ones were fine, just not enough of them)

Lovely apartment which was beautifully furnished and very clean. The instructions for the hot water were misleading as they referred to the heating system and advised that hot water was on demand and as a result we were without hot water from 6pm on the day we arrived until 4pm the following day. The engineer called and even he had problems understanding the instructions but after discussions with a colleague got the problem sorted.

Great location in Whitby. Lovely apartment. Huge, very comfortable beds. Two bathrooms, ensuite with shower cubicle. Well stocked kitchen, dishwasher, and clothes washer. Big TV Screen. Small selection of games for family/kids. Selection of DVD's. I would definitely recommend "Rest Assured ". Nothing to dislike..?

Rear Assured was a lovely apartment, with two great sized bedrooms both with really comfy beds. All amenities were as described and was a great base to explore Whitby and the surrounding area

The location of the property is ideal. We was aware that there was no private parking space prior to booking. We assumed that a parking scratch card would be available but unfortunately not. We attempted to purchase one but was informed only the owner of the building could do so. This meant that we had to park some distance away from the accommodation. The room had not been cleaned and we had no hot water for two full days. The price for this property was approximately the same as the one above which we had previously stayed in. Yet, that comes with private parking, a better view and is much larger.

Overall an excellent experience. Very comfortable apartment with all the creature comforts needed for a mini break. Parking was available directly outside using Disc for 3 hours. I noticed a number of cars parked had a scratch card for parking which would have been an advantage but not essential.
