The key lock box does not open easily, several attempts have to be made before it opens successfully.

Cleanliness and close proximity to the town. Less than 10 mins away. The matteress in one of the rooms has an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. The large lamp in main living area needs repairing or replacing.

Clean , comfortable. All equipment needed was available. All furniture of a very high spec. Beds very comfortable. Lots of channels on the tv- even one of those annoying echo machines! Very powerful shower. Keys in a lock box- easy to access. Great location Better instructions regarding the heating as we got very confused.

Good location looking out onto the park and just a few minutes walk from the harbour and town centre. Parking is extremely hit and miss and for the amount charged should include something better than street parking. Carpets and chairs were stained which made the place look a bit shabby. The carpets in particular need a good clean.Kitchen was woefully under equipped, very poor cookware, utensils, glassware etc. Two single beds pushed together did not make for a comfortable sleep. We could clearly hear the people upstairs who were not very considerate in the early morning. Did not appreciate being forced to pay a non refundable £30 security deposit as an alternative to £300 being held for 14 days. Did not think it was great value for money and really don't know why check in is only at 4pm when guests are rushed to get out by 10am on checkout. Would not have booked this apartment had we realised that dogs were allowed.

It was in a great location. Quick walk into town and beach and across the road from a lovely park. Free on street parking if you can get a space. Wasn’t the cleanest. Quite a few cobwebs and dust webs hanging from ceilings and on walls and a fare few spiders. A cupboard door had been left by a previous guest with a note from July, not the safest with a toddler. And some mould/ dirt on skirting boards in bedroom. Called to see if it was possible for someone to come and do a proper clean and to say we wasn’t happy to which we was told we’d get a call back, this happened 3 times with no call back, to which I called the following day to say not to bother as I’d cleaned what I can myself.

The accommodation was in a good location and had good kitchen facilities. However does need TLC.

The location was fantastic. Was very easy check in and out . Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a funny smell. The TV didn't work properly.

Fab location, free parking on the road opposite the apartment. Apartment clean and spacious. Hosts were very helpful and sent all the information needed. The only downfalls to the apartment are the beds weren’t the comfiest. I spent 2 nights on the sofa which isn’t good when going away for a break. I came home more tired than when I went. Took a while to figure out how to use the electric stove (no instructions) and only 1 toilet roll was left for a family of 4 on a 2 night stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just as described and we felt right at home. Great location for walking into town, yet a quiet location with a beautiful park across the road.

The location was great very central, we had everything we needed Parking

The location. We had stayed here before and it had previously been very good Filthy floors and carpets. Not been cleaned properly anywhere. Bathroom dirty and mouldy and hairs in shower and sink. Toothpaste on taps and a mouldy fake plant on window sill Stains on sofas and cushions Oven not been cleaned. Utensils and pots and pans have seen better days and I felt the need to wash them before we used them Dirty and Dusty blinds, paintwork. Rusty and marked lamp and side table. I was even treated to an old pair of tights in one of the drawers! Whole place needs a deep clean and decorating and some fixtures and fittings replacing. We called Host and Stay who arranged a cleaner for the following day but she did her best with the obvious things in the time she had but she was fighting a losing battle. Ironing facilities advertised. Iron but no board and yes we checked with Host and Stay who said no board provided. Freezer section was so blocked with ice the fridge door wouldn’t close properly. And the insult is that you have to be out by 10am and can’t check in until 4pm to allow time for cleaning!!! It’s a joke. Seems Covid is a distant memory. Premium prices for a supposed premium property but clearly a cash cow as no one takes any pride in this property

The accommodation was lovely but where a little shocked at having to pay £25 damage before gaining access to already fully paid accommodation

We know Whitby very, very well, & the location is ideal, but not if you have mobility issues as it's up a big hill. Easy to get a taxi though. The place was clean & comfortable, but the carpet looks like it's had a fair amount of stains scrubbed out, not entirely successfully. Beds were comfortable & the bathroom fine. We had an issue with the key to the front communal door, it snapped & half of it stuck in the lock. Reporting it & trying to find a solution was a pain. We were advised to use the rear entrance, but the metal steps leading out/in were too difficult for my elderly mum, & then the distance to our vehicle was too far. The next day we were told the lock had been dealt with the evening before, but no one communicated this with us or gave us a new key. It took me ringing the help number to even find this out. It was added stress that I didn't want as we were away to scatter the ashes of a loved one. Surely, there should be a local contact, not just a random call centre in another country. One of the bedrooms was a great size, the other somewhat small.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. It was perfect for our needs and only a short, but enjoyable walk in to the quayside at Whitby. The kids loved the play park across the road and overall it was a lovely relaxing experience. Thank you.

Very close to town, quiet, comfortable. Well-equipped. Well informed throughout the stay from booking to after the holiday. No parking but.on Street parking is available if.your lucky. Nothing else really

Lovely decor. Good appliances. Peaceful. Roadside parking was free and convenient. The yard is a bit tricky to access (through one of the bedrooms only) and not a very large space.

Stayed for a weekend and had a lvoely time Property very clean and lots of amenaties even a little yard area at the back. Parking was a little trickey we had to park far away and walk. But all in all lovely place to say with clean rooms and comfy beds.

Good location, nice apartment. The only thing that spoilt our stay was the mattress in one of the bedrooms wasn’t fit for purpose, it needs replacing, absolutely no support, hence a poor nights sleep.

The location is great for town and less than ten minutes away. There's mold on the flowers in the bathroom. Even though they're fake, they need a wipe or get some new ones. The mattress in the left bedroom could do with being a proper double, currently two singles. There's an uncomfortable ridge in the middle of the bed.

Great location and well equipped apartment for a short stay in Whitby. Close to town, the beach and the station. The TV remote was missing, which made changing channels tricky with the little buttons under the tv. Also only three knives for four of us. Easily rectified though.

We chose this property as we have two small young dogs, with the park being just across the road, thought it was an excellent choice. Sadly, we found that dogs are not allowed to be walked there. We would probably have chosen somewhere else.

Great location and clean . Everything you need in the apartment. Good communication. The mattress in the largest bedroom was two singles zipped together which made for some discomfort . The black mold in the bathroom needs addressing perhaps with larger extractor fan .

The place itself was accurately described and in a good location. The lower rating is due to two things: 1. There is a “safety” deposit requirement. Your options are either a £250 deposit that will be returned upon checkout if no damage is found (though a £10 fee is not returned) or a £25 deposit that is not returned. I have not had this with Air BNB before and did not appreciate that this was not included in the cost when I was choosing accommodation. Air BNB has ratings on customers to avoid this. 2. They are super stingy on consumables. Upon arrival we found no hand soap (bathroom or kitchen), dish liquid, or dishwasher tablets. We planned to eat in so this was a problem. When I contacted the host, they did bring the items the next day but when I asked for more toilet paper as well (there was only the single in use roll) I was told the policy was 1 roll per bathroom even if more than 1 person and more than 1 night. Just ridiculous.

The apartment was easy to find and we managed to find parking right outside. Lovely calm feeling when you get inside, well equipped and small patio was a bonus. Didn't need to move the car during stay - could walk to all of Whitby's main attractions. Entry instructions need updating - had to ring for help. One of the sofas has a large stain. I'd seen this mentioned in someone's review and thought it would have been dealt with.

location was great walkable into Whitby accommodation was well equipped with everything you need for a short break Bed wasn’t that comfy felt a couple of springs go during the night needed more information regarding heating system as cold one might and didn’t know how to work the heating worth noting that the park opposite the accommodation does not allow dogs in there so a bit disappointed at that .

The cooker hob needs cleaning properly as does the shower head, both would benefit from some proper cleaning fluids. Alao there was a large stain on one of the sofas but we reported this and it should be being dealt with

Everything else was good. The instructions to get into the Apartment were not correct. Typed in code, door didn't open. Rang for advice and was told to use the fob. No mention of a fob on the guide I was sent. Repetitive emails about the same thing. The cleaning in between the tiles of the shower was poor.

Location for walking into Whitby. Apartment was warm and cosy when we arrived. Bright and modern interior. Good selection of channels on large TV. Kitchen lacked one or two basics for a longer stay. Parking nearby could be difficult. Park across the road didn't allow dogs.

the photos really do capture this apartment, its spotlessly clean and very well equipped. i dont agree with the people who say the bedrooms are small, they have everything you need, the kitchen is far better equipped than any self-catering kitchen we have ever had, we have definitely never had a washing machine before. the location couldnt be better, a 5min walk in to town, the only slight downside, and this isnt the fault of the apartment, is that to say its dog friendly, there are no areas nearby where the dog can run free, the park of the 'park view' will not let the dog in!! and the nearest beach that he was allowed on in september was a bus ride to sandsend, but that was very worth the ride. in terms of the apartment itself we couldnt recommend it highly enough. we would be leaving a 6 star rating if we could!!

Excellent location and property

The communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had a problem with the key safe - we struggled to open it - a quick call to the number provided and we quickly sorted the problem. The accommodation itself was lovely and light, very clean and well equipped for a short stay. We really couldn't find any fault at all. Little extras like washing up liquid, shower gel etc were all provided. We particularly liked the convenience of a 12pm checkout, it meant that we were all recovered from the night before after attending a wedding at nearby Sneaton Castle.

simplistic no bulb in living room light… let them know. nothing was done. damp in bathroom, rusty bin in bathroom that hadnt been emptied on our arrival & rusty dirty toilet brush. induction hob doesn’t work. wouldn’t be back.

Excellent location made it easy exploring local area. We phones to ask about parking and they said to the front or to the side but sign said for residents only at side? We parked up the road in the end as unsure-moght need to make a little clearer maybe with photo to clarify areas? Some sheets had some marks on and couple of home but we're lovely and clean and fresh so happy with that. Really enjoyed our stay at the flat, thank you from us all!

Great location, opposite park. Insane designer shower control. Unable to operate if hands wet and soapy. Instructions to enter key code into smart lock inaccurate, you need to use the key fob. Wasted 45 minutes trying to open the door.

the flat was a lovely lay out and positioning for Whitby was perfect . the outside space was very compromised by the double bed in that room it had large sticking out base and both of us have bruises from every time we tried to pass it , needs to be the other way or bunk beds just not enough room with the outside door being through that room .

The apartment was clean and comfortable and reasonably equipped for our extended weekend stay. Located close to the town and facilities just a short walk away. The beds were comfortable and the shower room spacious. Needed a slotted spoon. The bedrooms are quite small with little room for maneuvering without cracking ones shins on the bed corners.

Great location to the town, park and greenery opposite. Clean and cheap with plenty of facilities and free coffee! Parking can be tough, I waited until the evening and moved just across the road.

Loved the location, the apartment was clean & modern with all mod cons, especially great as we could bring our cockapoo with us & it didn’t feel like a “doggy” type place. Convenience of the key box was great, customer service was great & booked with ease. The bed maybe could be moved in the 2nd bedroom as it was a squeeze getting in & out of the back door with the dog! Other than that, nothing!

Clean modern property equipped with everything you need short distance to Town centre and amenities

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all of the amenities anyone would require - i took dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll etc but didn’t need any of it as there was plenty of it all there. The apartment is in a very nice area of Whitby next to lovely park and the communication was excellent.

Very modern, spotlessly clean apartment with well equipped kitchen, good quality furnishings and fittings and comfy beds (albeit in small bedrooms). The check-in and out process is simple using a key safe and communication was good. The location is 5-10 minutes walk from the harbour and town centre. In January parking was easy - 2 minutes walk away on Kirkham Road but may well be more difficult in high season. Overall, a great place to stay in Whitby - recommended.

The apartment was very clean and well finished. Good quality furniture, beds, cookware and Tv. The shower in the bathroom was lovely, plenty of hot water and very powerful. Beds were good quality and very comfortable. Towels and linen all good quality and were clean and fresh. There was a lovely park opposite the apartment and the town centre just a short walk away. · The whole apartment was first class and I have nothing to complain about.

Close to Whitby centre this attractive apartment had everything we needed and more. Clean, stylish and comfortable we were extremely happy with our two night stay on our first visit to Whitby. My boys (ages 13 & 19 ) said the beds were very comfy and were more than happy with the wi-fi and large telly!!!! Little extras such as tea, coffee and milk were very thoughtful and just make that bit of difference. Thank you.

Didn't know what to expect, Surprised how Modern it was, How Clean it was, Location was brilliant, Beds really really Comfortable, Straight opposite the Lovely little park, Nice Private little Patio to have an evening drink on.....All in All Wow!

Spotlessly clean and everything needed for an enjoyable stay - really good shower and fab coffee maker in kitchen. Location is great - straight across from pretty park with squirrels and a museum. There is parking just outside (no token needed as in other parts of Whitby), only 10 minutes walk from harbour so no need to move car while you are there. We have always used B&Bs in Whitby before but this is better and will use again and have already told friends about it.

Enjoyed a lovely stay. The apartment is high spec, very clean and very comfortable. The raised aspect overlooking the trees and the park makes it very pleasant. There's a shortcut to town through the park, with all amenities within walking distance. We were fortunate enough to gain a parking place by the door, as these are limited. Thank you Park View team

A fantastic place to stay. Beautifully decorated with everything you could ever need. Perfect location opposite a park & 5 min walk into Whitby with lots to explore and a wonderful beach and harbour. Clean , quiet & beds so comfy! Lovely little touches throughout with power shower and fab coffee machine. We thoroughly enjoyed a rare night away from the kids to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and are thrilled we visited such a lovely place. Hat's off to the owner! We will be back

Beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean apartment with the added bonus of free parking close by. The kitchen was very well equipped and a nice touch having milk, tea, coffee and sugar available for our arrival. A short 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and beach respectively, and 5 minutes to the local pool. The location overlooking Pannett Park is lovely (it’s a shame the park isn’t dog friendly too). The little outside terrace is an added bonus. I stayed with my 2 children ages 9 and 13 and our small dog and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Park View. I would definitely recommend it and stay again in future. The only thing that could’ve improved our stay in Whitby was less rain, but the apartment had everything we needed when we had to stay indoors

We stayed at the park view in Whitby which for ya was just perfect. Set back just from the Station, so only a 2-3 minute walk to the harbour this apartment was wonderfully situated. Once inside the apartment really came to life, all newly furnished and super comfy it really did feel like a home from home... Would love to visit again soon

We stayed a an absolutely perfect apartment,less than 5 minutes to the centre of Whitby. Everything was lovely,spotlessly clean. It was a joy to get back there in the night to relax after a full day in Whitby. I would recommended this apartment to couples or families wanting to stay in Whitby. Would go back there again.
