Clean modern flat in superb location. Coffee machine, plus pods, milk & tea bags all provided. Parking not good: took a 320-point-turn to get my Volvo in the allotted space. Building entrance not obvious & parking place even more hidden. This could be clearer. <br/> After booking, they demand more money, either for breakage insurance or a refundable deposit, without having made this clear in the blurb beforehand. They then take - after the rental ends - 14 days to return one’s cash (£200 in July 2024). Why - in this digital banking age? By then they have had a free 4 week loan & yet are still mercenary enough to charge a £10 “admin fee”. <br/> Once in the flat you are bombarded with warnings, by text & by email, regarding the consequences of either late exit or damage to their property. Not relaxing. You are also required to empty your own bins. Down three flights of stairs. <br/> But fab balcony & I did enjoy having a go of a Nespresso.

Location was superb, with a balcony view and Whitby Abbey clearly visible in the distance. <br/>The entire apartment was spotlessly clean, with great decor and very well appointed with an allocated parking spot. <br/>Very nice bathroom and excellent shower <br/>Nice and quiet, other than the Gulls, but it IS Whitby, so to be expected.<br/><br/>Do not like the "insurance policy", with a choice of either taking aout a non refundable £25 policy, or £200 policy that will refund all but £10, i feel this should be included in the price. <br/>Parking spot is a little on the tight side, as its on a VERY narrow street, but with some maneuvering its accessible. <br/>Bathroom could do with an extractor fan (or instructions on how to turn it on) <br/>also the Digital guide supplied needs to be updated as it incorrectly lists the check out time as later than 10am <br/> <br/>all very small gripes though

Excellent location and parking onsite.<br/><br/>Outside area hadn’t recently been cleaned so had to this before could use table and chairs. Apartment would benefit from a bath mat and bin in bathroom and a small fresh milk being supplied for arrival.

Just arrived home from a wonderful stay. Host and stay were very helpful and responsive throughout the run up to our trip, being very accommodating adding a night to our stay on the day! The apartment itself is beautiful, so clean, and in walkable distance of everything. You really get what you pay for and is 100% worth it. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to stay here.

We book this place for a long weekend away. The place itself is as described. It has a lovely balcony overlooking Whitby and you can even see Whitby abbey from there. Bedrooms were spacious and both had a very comfortable bed. The whole apartment was very well presented, although a little tired in places. Nothing that a lick of paint wouldn't fix. The location is absolutely perfect, its a short 5 minute work into Whitby and the harbour. There is no need to use your car once you arrive, everything is within walking distance. There is a huge park up the hill (next to Whitby museum) that's close to the apartment. Our daughter loved it. This place is ideal for a little family break or couples holiday. We would recommend and would stay here again.

It’s quite difficult for me to get the keys. Without the neighbor’s help I can’t find the keys at all. Because it should be parking plot 3, which is after the flat’s number, but the number actually written on the ground is 8

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay here - the location was ideal for exploring Whitby (5 minute walk to the harbour, great food options and Co-op supermarket) and the surrounding area. <br/>The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped with everything you’d need for a few days stay - the bed was also one of the comfiest I’ve slept in! I loved the little terrace and the view over Whitby to the abbey, it was a lovely place to sit (weather permitting!) with my morning coffee. There were also some lovely little touches, such as coffee pods and milk sachets in the fridge to get me started.<br/>The communication before, during and after my trip was great, the directions and arrival info were clear and I found the digital guidebook, sent before my trip, really handy. <br/>Thank you for a very relaxing and hassle free stay in your apartment, I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Whitby!

Great location very central to everything only a very short walk from the centre which was really handy, the property was immaculately clean and very spacious had everything we needed during our stay. coffee machine is a lovey touch, very well equipped kitchen. the balcony was lovely for enjoying the views of Whitby. The bed was so comfortable and the bath is nice to use after a long day of walking, with plenty of fluffy towels provided also. The guidebook provided through email was very informative during the stay ensured that everything was easy to find and the food recommendations were great. <br/>excellent overall would definitely stay here again!<br/><br/>The parking is great asset of the property, however it was very tight to try and fit the car in may be difficult for people with a larger car.

We had everything we needed, the place was warm and had all the facilities we needed<br/><br/>The parking space and key safe was hard to find.

The property was great, well equipped, neatly presented. It’s in a great location with a great view from the front room & balcony.<br/>The parking spot allocated is a bit tight for larger vehicles.<br/><br/>Host & Stay issued conflicting advice regarding the check out time 10am & 12am. <br/>To confirm it is 10am prompt.<br/>Also the return of the £250 damages deposit was quoted as 7-10 and also 7-14 days. <br/>My deposit was returned after 10 days, despite having to pay an additional admin fee. Personally I feel this is unfair, other deposits with other companies have been returned within 5 working days.

Just returned from a few great days in Whitby staying at the Skyline Appartment, although there are some negatives I dont want to take away from the postivies and that it is a lovely little modern apprtment with the added bonus of having a large balcony with a great view of the Abbey, the kitchen is well stocked with glassed plates utensils along with a fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine, if you need to use them, they also provided a few extra bin bags, cloths, washing up liquid and a few dish washer tablets, Being March it was still a little chilly outside but the apparment was well heated and controlled from the thermostat in the living area and also has free wifi and a large TV, The beds were comfortable with a good selection of pillows. The appartment is idealy situated for short walk into town or walking distance to the Train Station, however I would point out that the last 20-30 metres of the walk up to the appartment get quite steep and with 4 short flights of stairs if you have a mobility issue you may stuggle, the parking bay is tight, if you have a small car you may be able to drive in but in most cases you will need to reverse park (as google maps has yet to be updated search for images for Spa Well Court Whitby for some images) however if this is too much they provide a few W Zone parking permits that can be used for the duration of your stay. I wlil say that the apprtment is cosy and for 4 people sharing the same space for any more than a few days may be testing. I personally enjoyed my time in the Skyline Appartment and look forward to staying there again sometime in the future however remember the seaside is full of seagulls and they have a habbit of sh###ing everywhere

we liked the position of the property easy access to the town. Nice and modern property.<br/><br/>Getting the keys was a nightmare as given the wrong code. Took age for someone to answer the phone for us to get the correct code. <br/>There was a smell of cooking oil as soon as we entered the apartment, on closer inspection realised the extractor fan needed a clean. Had a problem with the hot water, once the heating went off in the evening.

The apartment is lovely and the location is great. The view of the abbey is a bonus.<br/><br/>Our stay was 2 nights which totalled to 42 hours, due to check in being 4pm and check out being 10am. The guide book on the QR code in the apartment says checkout is 12pm. In this period of time we received 7 messages in total from Booking.com and Host and Stay, 6 of which were reminders that we had to check out at 10am. We are 2 adults that can read and understand from just 1 message. By the time we left we felt very unwelcome.

This is the second time we have stayed in a host & stay holiday let and I can’t fault them, this was a great location literally 2 minutes walk into town the property was very nicely laid out and the beds where super comfy we had everything we needed for a great weekend. We will certainly return here as love the balcony area but a little too cold to sit out this weekend. All in all I can’t fault host & stay no fuss check in and always contactable if any problems need sorting. A+++++

Lovely clean modern flat in great location, 5 mins walk to centre of west side. There were a couple of broken items that need mending like towel rail and a stain on the carpet and bathroom bin required but other than that it was great.

The location was good. It was good to have a car space. It was fairly clean though there were cobwebs in some of the windows and dust that clearly had not been removed for some time.<br/><br/>The car space is tiny but fortunately we had a small car; anyone with a big car would really struggle to get into it. The lock box was fiddly. The place was a bit shabby in places ~ for example, the side of the bathtub is loose. There were no bins in any of the rooms except the main room. There is no extractor fan in the bathroom, which we think needs to be rectified. "In short the regulations require: UK bathrooms must be ventilated with either a window or an extractor fan. If there is only a toilet, a window alone is sufficient but in new-build bathrooms with a bath and shower, mechanical ventilation in the form of an extractor fan is required." Being asked to clean and tidy the apartment and remove the rubbish seemed a bit over the top, considering we pay a cleaning fee as part of the overall costs. The way the breakage fee was added after booking and paying was just another way to increase the income in a sneaky way. There were no instructions for using the oven.

The view. The security. The comfort and the shower<br/><br/>Walking up three flights of stairs. Having to locate a mysterious key box in a mystery car park (we don’t drive and the place wasn’t obvious). Lack of someone to come and help us enter. Neighbours did the job instead. The door handles. They are a safety issue and both of us knocked our elbows. My injury is ongoing. Swollen painful. It finished me off for enjoying Whitby.

The location was brilliant<br/><br/>I had to clean the apartment, there was dust on all the bedside tables, the bathroom shelf and the widow sills. there was decorative vases which were covered in dust and there was toe nail clippings under the sofa which you could see from siting on the chair opposite. Dust on the tops of the bed headboards. There was paint scuffs and scrapes on the walls and the bath panel was loose and looked like it was going to fall off until I pushed it Bach on, i did report this immediately but had nothing in return.

Great property to stay in to explore Whitby. Easy to find and easy to access, parking slightly tight if you have a big car but great to have access to parking. Very close to main town. Property and balcony very quiet. <br/>Property tidy and generally clean, could have done with some touch ups on paint and cobwebs removing, windows cleaning etc - but nothing major. <br/>High end materials used in property and everything to a good standard. <br/>Great to have a handbook of recommendations - we went to many places on the list and loved them.<br/>Very comfy beds and amazing shower! <br/>We loved our stay here to explore Whitby and surrounding areas. We would absolutely stay here again!

This apartment was perfect for our short break with two grandchildren. Everything was very clean, beds so comfortable and the centre of town was only a ten minute walk.<br/><br/>Parking space a little difficult to get in and out of and check out time is very early 10am. Wouldn’t stop be booking again but I do feel that check in at 4 and checkout at 10 is not ideal especially at this price point .

I would avoid staying here again because Host & Stay take a £250 deposit off you for 10 days (we were only there one night) and then charge £10 for doing it! The balcony was filthy when we arrived and as we wanted to use it we had to spend 30 minutes cleaning it.

Apartment nice, parking very very small with wheelie bins in the way, cleaner was in our space when arrived. THE BALCONY WAS DISGUSTING covered in bird poo, contacted Host and stay as soon as arrived, they tried to say it happened between the cleaner leaving and us arriving ? her car was still there ! VERY unhelpful saying had to report in 5 days ! Reported arrival day but said beyond their control! What to clean it ? Also the table covered in poo but I cleaned that!

Should be a warning about it as a lot of people now have larger cars. A welcome ‘bag’ woukd have been appropriate for the price - proper milk, biscuits, tea bags etc.

Great place, perfect location for the centre of Whitby! We did have issues with parking at the place as we were in a transporter van and the parking space has a height restriction but this wasn’t mentioned until we arrived and saw! We were able to park on the street a short walk away with a free parking pass so not the end of the world but we would have gone in another car if we had known!

The flat was in a great location, with amazing view of the skyline with the Abbey on the hill in the distance, you had your own private parking and the facilities and comfort were great. Would highly recommend this flat.<br/><br/>Nil.

Lovely apartment in a great location with parking which is a a real positive. It was very clean apartment in general<br/><br/>We unfortunately couldn't use the kitchen facilities and were unable to cook. On arrival the cleaners had to return to remove spilt sour milk from the fridge and clean the freezer. The leftover smell was too bad to store food so we therefore didn't use the kitchen.

Quick and easy to use.<br/><br/>We had an allocated parking space under the building we stayed in. However, the space wasn't big enough for our car and because we have a 4x4 our car wouldn't fit under the RSJ which ran across the top of the parking space. We contacted the hosts, and their reply was to park in a public car park. This we didn't want to do, as accommodation with parking on site was important to us, hence why we booked the accommodation with an allocated parking space. Unfortunately, they were unable to help us and asked if we had read the guidelines, which we had and there was no mention of height restrictions or that the spaces were tight/small. They told us that if we parked in another space on site that they would not be responsible if we received a parking ticket! So not helpful in that respect. The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. Very well equipped and nice and warm. The only let down was the parking!

Beds were very complimentary i sleeped like a log, very comfy, location was great nearthe coop for essentials, 10 minutes walk to the harbour, gorgeous view of the Abbey from the balcony, great parking spot would definitely rebook.

Keys were mistakenly taken by cleaner and not available. How this was ultimately resolved deserves 10/10 however it should not of happened in the first place.<br/><br/>Parking was unsuitable for my vehicle (Mercedes-Benz Vito People Carrier)

The location was very good for walking to the seafront (5 minutes) and the rooftop terrace was great to view the city. The kitchen was very well equipped with supplies of coffee, tea, cooking oils, salt, pepper etc.<br/><br/>As others have said you can't rely on getting a car into the allocated parking space unless it is very small. They did provide a parking permit for the duration of our stay but that meant we had to drop off our luggage at the property and then drive to a location 10 minutes walk away to park the car. As we didn't use the car during our stay this wasn't a big problem.

The apartment was extremely clean, very well equipped, excellent heating and a good location for access to the town centre, train station and amenities. We stayed at the skyline apartment in Whitby (2 adults and our 9 year old). Apartment was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The location is great and we were able to walk everywhere, we did not use our car all week. Whitby was super busy and we found finding places to eat a bit of a challenge so I would recommend booking if you like the look of somewhere. We had a takeaway from Passage to India near the train station which we were able to walk back to the apartment before it went cold, and that was lovely.

Lovely central location and well-stocked apartment. Slight snag with one towel having what looked like a foundation stain and a hair found in one of the beds on arrival. Otherwise great stay and easy and clear communication.

The balcony had such a lovely view of the abbey in the distance. The location was super close to restaurants and pubs in Whitby. The beds were really comfy and the house was lovely and clean.

This apartment is lovely and in a great location with around a 10 min walk to the harbour. The styling of the apartment was gorgeous and has made me want to redecorate my whole house! The view from the balcony was amazing and such a nice added bonus. The only thing for us was that the check in wasn’t until 3pm and check out was at 10am.. it did feel like either check in could have been a little bit earlier or alternatively check out could be at 11 or 11:30. I appreciate that the apartment has to be cleaned between stays but I can’t imagine it takes 5 hours (between 10am and 3pm) to clean. Possibly to do with COVID but that was the only thing that I could provide feed back on as otherwise a really great apartment and a lovely stay!
