Ideal location but wud try and book the Glaisdale apartment nxt time coz it's only first floor and my partner is partially sighted Wud ov Preferred 2 double bed rooms

Loved the location and the apartment was very comfortable and clean. Have stayed here before and would again. As there is no oven the property could do with an air fryer and I think the instructions need to make clear that the keypad to the right of the front door is not part of accessing the main door. Once you realise the blacked out digital lock on the front door is how to get in it is all straightforward. Also this is our second stay yet nothing has been done about the lack of a handrail by the front door steps. This makes accessing for older people more difficult and would be a great addition. Otherwise all was great.

Proximity to the promenade, 5 minutes walk from the train station. The property is in great condition and with the necessary basics. Cleanliness was not up to standard. Dirty towels, food on the carpet, and kitchen countertop with stains. I contacted Host and Stay, and they sent the usual complaint form via email, which I haven't been bothered to complete as I booked with this property management company 3 times, and each time, I had problems. Avoid booking with them if you can.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Zero complaints by anyone in the group. We definitely plan on coming again!

Good location and helpful staff. Free parking was available within 10 min walking distance. A security deposit of 250 pounds had to be paid before arrival via an online provider. This includes a 10 pounds non refundable fee, which is in contradiction to the description. The deposit is refunded after 14 days.

Cannot fault it in any other way , the only problem we had was the touchscreen for the code but once we had mastered that it was ok , great for amenities although the walk uphill to it was a work out ? lovely place

The apartment was excellent, beautifully clean, spacious, attractive, and well-appointed with everything you could want. A huge, tiled shower room,with plenty of fluffy bathtowels etc and master bedroom with tv, and ample 2nd bedroom with 2 singles, a huge, light living space, with modern kitchen, mood lighting and comfy sofas. It's positioned near the centre, a bit of a hill but accessible for the harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. It's really good. A little difficult to find, situated on a nasty bend, but once located, we unpacked the car and parked up on a nearby car park. The apartment is top of the building, 3 short flights, so a little difficult for the less mobile, and a hand rail needed for the entrance steps, it's not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning.

Excellent location. Good size apartment. No parking for the flat but I did manage to get a free parking 6 min walk away on Spring Vale but it seems to always be busy. Car parks are an expensive option if you plan to spend all the time in the town and have no need to drive. The dressing table in the master bedroom needed a wipe. Plus I think the communal staircase needs a clean. Flat has no oven so keep that in mind if plan to buy food from a supermarket.

Light and airy apartment, lovely and clean. Beds comfortable. Didn't realise the apartment was on the second floor, too many steps when you have Osteoarthritis in the knee department. Plus we had an 84 year old with us.

Great location, large living space, bright and airy. Whilst almost everything there for self catering could do with an oven.

The apartment was beautifully clean and well presented. Perhaps a little bit of a noisy location for small children due to the pub opposite. Although this did not bother us.

Location is absolutely perfect! The apartment was furnished/finished to a high standard and was really cosy for 4 of us. Entry to the apartments could be simplified if I'm being honest, we found it a bit confusing due to a keypad and keybox on the outside of the building.

gorgeous apartment, well resourced - everything you need and great location. one of nights we were staying there was a band/karaoke on at the pub near by. it went on till late and we found it difficult to sleep with the noise.

Na Instructions for getting in not clear. We're very worried til we realized the blank screen was where we entered code

Location excellent. Parking poor. No hot water from Sunday evening through to Monday, so 4 adults unable to shower on Monday morning No parking permits ie scratch cards

Very clean and modern in a great location. The toilet was continually running, wasting water and being a bit noisy. It also took until the last day of our stay to get any hot water in the shower which wasn’t great.

clean tidy and modern apartment . in a great location . well equipped for a family or couples . the door codes were a bit of a pain until you got used to them

clean comfortable and very well decorated. Noisy at times due to being a middle floor apartment, in the centre of town. Not suitable for anybody with knee or hip problems due to the amount of stairs in the building, also building is situated up a hill in the centre of Whitby. Whitby has a severe parking problem, only able to park outside the building once in four days.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Runswick. The flat is lovely and well presented. The location is ideal to discover Whitby and 5 minutes walking from Restaurants and shops.

Location, spacious apartment, facility Hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. Very noisy from apartment above. Like herd of elephants til very late. No drying facility. Door lock from street posed a bit of an issue. No freezer

Fantastische locatie. Prachtig mooi, groot en schoon (keurig!) appartement. Er is geen echte eettafel dat was even een beetje wennen. En boven ons zaten wat onrustig trappelende kids maar verder echt top!

The apartment was really well finished and had everything we needed. The location was good and there was plenty going on nearby. I would definitely recommend the property to friends. The mattress of the double bed felt like it was on a slope and I think it was also a double. A king size would have been better.

Central location. Most rooms spacious. Well equipped. Pleasant decor. Parking tricky and regulations unclear (despite having emailed for info in advance, info was vague and incomplete, resulting in me getting a parking ticket during the 10 mins I was unloading my case). There was a bit of noise from the pub opposite. Second twin bedroom very small.

Good "bolt-hole" in the centre of Whitby. Not suitable for a family in hindsight as there is no bath, no oven, and the stairs to the apartment are very steep for little legs. Mistake on me as I clearly didn't read the fine print. This would be great for couples or for families with older kids. The little angel pub is opposite and they have live music Saturday nights, which was deafening until 1am.

Very clean and comfortable and in an ideal position. Nothing I didnt like although had a little trouble getting in to ground floor door as instructions didnt say to also touch lock symbol on key pad.

Location was excellent and the apartment was spotless. The only problem was noise from the apartment above. Sounded like an elephant was constantly jumping about up there.

What a great and central location! The apartment itself is great and very newly refurbished to a very high level. Just a note, there’s no oven but they have provided an electric grill. We stayed as a family of 4 and it was perfect really. The wifi is strong and fast (I still had it in Emma’s Diner down the road) and it has everything a modern family could need.

Things I like to know before going anywhere… hairdryer is provided, iron and board, sufficient hangers for clothes, coffee, tea, sugar etc (even a small milk in fridge ready for arrival cuppas) towels, toiletries, cleaning products were all provided. The apartment was very clean and in a great location. Located up either a short steep hill or a longer less steep hill depending on route taken, and then up a few flights of stairs (with handrails) prepare to have a little work out each day. Super central though and lovely cafes and shops around. More expensive than Whitby hotels but the apartment meant my young daughter had her own room to use, she fell asleep so well each night so that says a lot for how comfy and secure the apartment felt to her. Although it was right next to a pub there was no trouble with noise outside. A comfortable lovely stay.

Great apartment, very clean and modern. Milk, coffee, tea and sugar supplied which was nice. Perfect location to explore Whitby. Parking for drop off right outside, and free parking up the road, a few mins walk back.
