The location was absolutely brilliant. Both bathrooms are lovely and the place has a lovely quirky feel to it. Fresh bedding and towels. A few things that we felt would improve it. firstly, whenever we stay in whitby, we like to cook breakfast before heading out for the day, but unfortunately, the oven had no grill pan and also no frying pan in the property, so we couldn't cook. Secondly, although the bathrooms are immaculate and the bedding etc all spotless, the cleaning standards with things like the wood flooring downstairs and the carpets upstairs could be improved with a good deep clean. Downstairs seemed like it had been swept but not mopped and our socks got instantly dirty from walking around. The carpets had stains on in the bedrooms however the carpets are nice, thick and look relatively new so it is just a cleaning issue. All in all we all agreed we would stay again because we enjoyed the property however we said we would come equipt with some cleaning products to give it the once over before unpacking. We just wanted to feed that back to the owner because if you are using a cleaning agency, they are letting you down.
