Farmhouse
📍 Westgate House, Station Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1HQ

Located under the Everyman cinema off Station Parade, you’ll find Farmhouse. One of the best Harrogate restaurants, this independent eatery has something for everyone. Open all day, you can get your hands on delicious breakfasts, burgers, salads, and seafood, as well as lovely vegan and veggie dishes! 

If you prefer to tuck-in whilst relaxing in the comfort of the apartment or home you’ve booked, Farmhouse has got you covered. They now deliver straight to your door via Deliveroo!

La Feria
📍 Wellington House, Cold Bath Road, Harrogate, HG2 0NA 

One of our favourite Harrogate restaurants, La Feria is a Spanish restaurant serving up delicious food inspired by the many villages, towns and cities in Andalusia. Their menu includes sharing boards, tapas and salads so it’s a great spot if you’re visiting in a group. They also serve their famous, speciality free-range rotisserie chicken main which is infused with the flavours of Spain.

Vivido Bar & Restaurant
📍 16 Cheltenham Crescent, Harrogate, HG1 1DH 

Vivido on Cheltenham Crescent is authentic and family run. Priding themselves on using fresh local produce in their dishes, you will not only get the taste of Italy but also get to experience the best produce the region. If you’re visiting with little ones, there is a fantastic kids menu where they can tailor their pizza toppings so they have the perfect pizza for them.

The Ivy

Set within the Royal Baths, The Ivy combines historical grandeur with modern elegance. Known for its classic British dishes infused with a contemporary twist, The Ivy is one of the best Harrogate restaurants for special occasions and luxurious dining experiences. Drum and Monkey
📍 5 Montpellier Gardens, Harrogate, HG1 2TF 

Since the 1970s, Drum and Monkey has been a local favourite for seafood lovers. This charming Harrogate restaurant specialises in high-quality seafood, including freshly caught fish, shellfish, and decadent lobster. The relaxed yet elegant ambiance, combined with exceptional service, makes it ideal for anyone seeking fresh seafood with a traditional touch.

William & Victoria
📍 6 Cold Bath Road, Harrogate, HG2 0NA

This family-owned restaurant and wine bar has been serving the Harrogate community for over four decades, and it continues to be a favourite for both locals and tourists. With its wood-panelled interior and warm, rustic vibe, William & Victoria offers a truly British experience. If you’re staying with us on a Sunday and looking for Harrogate restaurants serving traditional roasts, then William & Victoria is a great choice!

Cafes in Harrogate 

We couldn’t talk about Harrogate restaurants without mentioning the renowned café scene here. Offering everything from indulgent afternoon teas to fresh-baked pastries and specialty coffee, there is a rich variety to choose from.

Weetons
📍 23- 24 W Park, Harrogate, HG1 1BJ 

One of our favourite cafes in Harrogate is Weetons, which was previously the popular Crimple. Using amazing produce from the farm shop, all of the food served here is seasonal and fresh. Serving brunch, lunch, salads, daily specials, and sweet treats, Weetons has a fantastic menu with vegan and veggie options. We’d recommend their baked eggs – just delicious!

Hoxton North
📍 1A Royal Parade, Harrogate, HG1 2SZ 

This independent coffee shop brings a bit of London’s cafe culture to Harrogate. With its minimalist interior and expertly crafted coffee, Hoxton North is a great spot for those who want a top-notch coffee experience. They serve a range of breakfast and brunch options, such as avocado toast and pastries, making it a go-to for a leisurely morning.

Bettys Café Tea Rooms

You can’t visit Harrogate without popping into Bettys! A Harrogate institution since 1919, Bettys is beloved for its classic English afternoon tea. With art deco interiors and an air of old-world elegance, the tearoom offers a variety of baked goods, from scones and cakes to Yorkshire curd tarts. The cafe’s signature tea blends make the experience even more special, and it’s a must-visit for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in true Harrogate tradition.

Mama Doreen’s Emporium
📍 9-11 Station Square, Harrogate, HG1 1TB

Another fantastic spot in Harrogate for sweet treats is Mama Doreen’s! They make delicious afternoon tea to takeaway for £15 per adult or you can buy individual scones, boxes of cupcakes, and boxes of drip cakes. If you’d prefer to sit in, they have brunch and lunch menus serving up soup, sandwiches, paninis, and platters. You can also enjoy their afternoon tea inside for £25.95 per person.

Baltzersen’s

Inspired by Scandinavian traditions, Baltzersen’s serves Nordic pastries, sandwiches, and all-day brunch options in a cosy, inviting atmosphere. Known for its cinnamon buns, Danish pastries, and freshly brewed coffee, Baltzersen’s is ideal for those looking for a unique cafe experience in Harrogate.

As well as popular restaurants and cafes, Harrogate also has so many amazing bars and pubs. Whether you’re looking for a pre-dinner drink, a late-night tipple, or just somewhere to rest your feet for a little whilst exploring, we have lots of recommendations.  

The Pickled Sprout
📍 1 John Street, Harrogate, HG1 1JZ 

A great spot for drinks, The Pickled Sprout is a beautiful restaurant and bar serving fine wines, cocktails, mocktails, spirits from around the world, and beers. They also have guest ales and speciality cocktails on the menu! If you’re popping in for cocktails, don’t miss their two for £14 offer. They also serve delicious food if you fancy a bite to eat once you get there.

Roland’s

For delicious cocktails, we’d recommend Roland’s on Parliament Street! With beautiful interiors and a laidback feel, it’s a lovely spot for enjoying a drink. If you’re staying with us on a weekend and planning a night out, Roland’s is open late (2am on a Saturday) so definitely one to visit.

Major Tom’s

If you’re looking for a cool spot to enjoy a beer and some pizza, Major Tom’s is the place for you. Located above a vintage shop, this independent café, beer bar and pizzeria has it all. You can enjoy real ales, craft beers, wine, spirits, tea, coffee, and stone baked pizzas. They also have boardgames and live music, plus they often run events such as film nights, quiz nights, and arts exhibitions. Did we mention it’s family friendly and dog friendly too?

Cold Bath Brewing Co.

For those interested in craft beer, Cold Bath Brewing Co. provides a modern twist on the traditional pub. This brewery pub specialises in craft beers, brewed on-site, that range from hoppy pale ales to refreshing lagers. The interior is contemporary and open, creating a lively atmosphere perfect for beer lovers. They also serve pizzas and tapas, making it a great spot to try local flavours in a casual setting.
