The Space
A fully self-contained apartment, facilitating guests and their family and friends in whatever way they decide to unwind and enjoy their space, and surrounds.
The living space provides a stylish fitted kitchen, with integrated oven, hob, and fridge with ice making facility. A dining table for two people and comfy sofa completes the indoor space. The outward views from the traditional sash windows are of the famous and dramatic Castle Rock, part of the Middleton Dale SSSI and iconic climbing crags.
This top floor, luxurious space includes a beautifully appointed separate bedroom providing a choice of a luxurious, super comfy 6ft super-king size bed or two full-sized twin beds, built-in wardrobe, and dressing table. Adjoining is a beautiful, fully tiled en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating, rain shower and built-in hand basin and toilet.

The Peak District area itself is a sought-after leisure destination offering endless activities set in breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil countryside.
The area also offers quaint villages, charming market towns and stunning famous country houses such as Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House. The apartments themselves are situated in the picturesque village of Stoney Middleton.
The village has a distinct charm and character, enhanced by its intriguing, listed buildings, and fascinating heritage. Stoney Middleton village is famous for its well- dressings, rock climbing and caving.
The village also provides a local pub and a selection of restaurants for you and all other guests to enjoy.
While Stoney Middleton is a small village, nearby Bakewell and Matlock have excellent independent shops and markets where you can pick up local produce, crafts, and souvenirs:
• Bakewell Market: Held on Mondays, this is a great place to browse for local produce, crafts, and antiques.
• Matlock Farmers' Market: Held regularly, offering fresh local produce, meats, cheeses, and homemade goods.
Getting Around
Stoney Middleton is a small and peaceful village in the Peak District, which is ideally situated for accessing nearby towns and attractions.
Local bus routes include; Route 173 (Bakewell to Matlock) and Route 172 (Buxton to Bakewell).
Route 173 is the main bus route passing through Stoney Middleton, linking the village to Bakewell (about 5 miles away) and Matlock (around 7 miles away). Both Bakewell and Matlock are popular market towns with plenty to see and do with local attractions including shopping and dining.
Route 172 connects Stoney Middleton to Buxton (about 5 miles away), another market town known for its Georgian architecture and the Buxton Opera House. The bus also runs to Bakewell, making it a useful service for accessing both towns.
Both services are regular, but it’s essential to check the timetables, especially for return journeys as services can be limited at night.
