The Space
LIVING AREA
Beginning on the ground floor, you’ll find a family room complete with a smart TV and a well-stocked library. Sumptuous soft furnishings make this space cosy and homely so it’s a great place to relax during your stay.

KITCHEN
Head to the kitchen diner and you’ll find a large and spacious area, measuring 480 square feet to be exact. Designed with the family in mind, the kitchen includes a farmhouse style electric cooker, hobs, a built-in fridge-freezer, as well as a washing machine. In terms of dining space, guests will be spoilt for choice thanks to the twin breakfast bar and eight-seater dining table on offer at Bay View House, all in front of a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Add to all of this the underfloor heating in the kitchen and you’ll realise just how much Bay View House has to offer.

PATIO
From here, you’ll be able to access Bay View House’s stunning outdoor space. French doors open up onto the patio and gardens which are large, private, and also benefit from direct sea views. With well-stocked flower beds and feature box hedging around the perimeters, this is a truly stunning part of the property. Mood lighting only adds to the atmospheric feel of the garden at Bay View House.

BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
On the first floor, you’ll find two double bedrooms, both with excellent sea views, as well as a twin room and two bathrooms. Both ensuites on this floor have spacious walk-in showers and underfloor heating. Bedrooms two and three have been designed with families in mind as the ensuite here is a Jack and Jill so the rooms are easily linked together. A traditional property, yet modern at the same time, the mirror in this ensuite even has a built-in speaker so make sure you tune in whilst enjoying a morning shower! All bedrooms on the first floor are equipped with large wardrobes and a chest of drawers.

Up on the second floor is where you’ll find the master bedroom at Bay View House. With a feature king size four-poster bed made up with quality bed linens, as well as a walkthrough dressing area which leads to the ensuite bathroom this is a great space. A built-in oak wardrobe and drawers complete the room which also boasts uninterrupted sea views across Bridlington Bay.

High speed Wifi is accessible throughout the property so whether you are staying for business or pleasure, you can be guaranteed a good connection when logging on.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Sewerby is Bridlington’s premier coastal village. Head to to one of the most popular attractions in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Sewerby Hall, which is a grade 1 listed building and also home to the Museum of East Yorkshire.

Within the village you’ll find The Ship Inn serving freshly prepared food throughout the day and the beer garden has brilliant sea views. If you’re after a refreshing drink in the summer then Blu Savannah is the place to go for hot and cold drinks, as well as ice creams.

Head into Bridlington and walk along the elegant promenade or relax on the sandy beach. You could also choose the visit the historic harbour and take a trip on the Yorkshire Belle. For the younger generations, they can tire themselves out at the seafront funfair or at the amusements. Donkey rides are also on offer in Bridlington.

For a touch of nostalgia don’t miss the wonderful Old Town where Dad’s Army was filmed. The Old Town has managed to keep its quaint personality providing a delightful selection of shops and cafes.

Getting Around
Bridlington train station has direct routes to Scarborough, Hull, Sheffield and Doncaster. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.

Hop on the 14 bus in Sewerby and you’ll have easy access to Bridlington and the pretty village of Flamborough.
