The Space
Enter this characterful cottage into the living area. This is a beautiful and cosy room, boasting carefully selected artwork and pottery. There is plenty of room to sit comfortably and enjoy the warmth of the roaring wood burner in the evening whilst watching your favourite programme on the TV. After preparing a meal in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, guests can sit around the dining table and catch up on the day’s adventure. Upstairs, there are two generous bedrooms which are beautifully put together, lots of space and gorgeous touches. Outside is a modern seating area. A hot spot in the summer and a cosy retreat in the winter, the garden gives you a year-round appreciation of being in this wonderful part of the world.

Neighborhood
Cromford itself is host to several cosy pubs and restaurants, as well as a world-famous book shop, art gallery and local amenities. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage of Cromford Mills less than half a mile away, where you can find some unique and independent shops, enjoy a wonderful walk by the canal, and visit the Mill itself that’s brimming with history. Matlock Bath is also less than half a mile away, where you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, arcades and ice cream parlours, an aquarium and more. Black Rocks (0.6 miles) is a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and can be accessed via foot or by car and boasts a lovely scenic walking trail.

Getting Around
Located only 2 miles North of Matlock where public transport is in abundance, your only a 5 minute drive before you can be out exploring. Matlock is well-served by public transport, making it easy to explore the town and the surrounding areas. Whether you're traveling by bus, train, or even boat, there are various options to get around. Matlock is connected to the national rail network via Matlock Railway Station, which is located just a short walk from the town centre. The station is served by East Midlands Railway and provides direct services to several destinations in the region including Derby, Nottingham and Manchester. Alternatively, you can explore on one of the more scenic train journeys, including the Peak Rail heritage railway. Via steam train, the service runs between Matlock and Rowsley offering stunning views on the full journey.
Matlock has a comprehensive bus network, with services connecting the town to nearby towns and attractions. Derbyshire Dales Bus Services operate many routes that link Matlock to other parts of the Peak District and surrounding areas including Bakewell, Chesterfield and Bath.
