The Space
Bowscale Suite has an open plan kitchen, living and dining space. The kitchen has modern appliances and cookware so you can prepare meals easily during your stay. There is also a dishwasher for your use.

Accessible from the living area is a large, private balcony with outdoor seating. It’s here where you can really make the most of the breathtaking views of the stunning surrounding countryside.

The bedroom in the apartment boasts a king size bed with plush bedding so every care has been taken to ensure you have a comfortable night’s sleep. There is ample storage for your belongings with a wardrobe, drawers and bedside table. Plus, you can enjoy quality TV from the bed.

The bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Penrith railway station, with regular services from major towns and cities, is just a short drive away. From Penrith, there is direct rail access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Keswick, London and Manchester.

While no bus routes operate in Whitbarrow Village itself, regular services run to Penrith from Carlisle, Kendal, Keswick, Kirkby Stephen, Windermere and Workington.

The nearest airport is Newcastle International, 80 miles away from Whitbarrow Village.
