Terrible,the only positive thing about the apartment is the view ! Albeit it through dirty windows. We booked this through Host and stay who are not interested in your stay after they have your money ,I contacted them when we arrived about how dirty the oven was I was also surprised that £190 a night for our stay no welcome pack was left so after a long journey we then had to get essentials milk etc I have never been so disappointed apart from the reply I got from host and stay also I was confused about the bond we had to pay along with a admin fee that’s not being refunded for 14 days .so disappointed with this just wondering if the people that clean the apartment just go in and watch the world go by from the lovely view?

the property is actually very spacious and has excellent views of the cliffs overlooking Saltburn beach. It is generally furnished to a high standard, except the bed frame which felt a bit flimsy. Note that this host will ask for a damages deposit just before checkin, which is not otherwise advertised on the listing.

Amazing flat in a great location overlooking the sea… beautifully decorated and peaceful

If I ever write a book, this is where I would write it! Such a beautifully decorated space and amazing views! My toddler didn’t even want to leave the living room as she was enjoying boat spotting so much. At night the moon reflection on the sea is the most calming thing ever. Honestly such a little paradise in saltburn ??

On arrival we had to wait for an hour to be let in. We phoned the number 4times and it rang out. The worst check in I have ever experienced. <br/>Before we were allowed access to the apartment we had paid for in full, we were forced to pay either a £25 charge in case we broke anything or a £250.00 payment that they would refund if they said nothing was damaged. The 250.00 payment would only be returned after 14 days. However,after 14days they would return £240.00, £10.00 deducted for their administration fee. I have never encountered this in an air b n b and I don't know how it's acceptable. We paid the £25.00 as we had already been driving for 4 hours and didn't want to sit outside any longer. we didn't know what the property was actually like inside or if Host and stay would actually refund the £240. <br/>The property itself was in a fantastic location for restaurants,the beach and walking. The bed was comfy and shower good. nice snacks left out.

Beautiful apartment with amazing views

The property is a very pleasant apartment enjoying spectacular views over the beach and cliffs in Saltburn. The property is very well equipped and thoughtfully furnished. There are restaurants within walking distance, Seaview being highly recommended. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the break. The property is an excellent base for access to the Cleveland Way

Perfect location for not just the view and beach but also easy couple of minutes walk into town. The apartment is on the large side so plenty of room for both of us.<br/><br/>Considering previous reviews I was a tad apprehensive but we didn’t experience any issues. What I would add though is maybe Host and Stay invest a couple of quid hiring a window cleaner as the main USP of this property is the view (it is amazing!) and having the outside of the windows cleaned would have made it even better!

The hot water wasn't working when we arrived. the customer service bot (I assume) was not helpful and told me how to use the thermostat instead of the boiler. I ended up having to find out for myself how to fix it. We had the first 12 hours without hot water. Host and Stay were not helpful at all and seemed fine with us being there for a long weekend with no hot water. given how expensive it was the service was appalling. I will make sure I never stay in their properties again.

This apartment is a luxurious place to stay. Amazing sea & coastal views. Spacious accommodation. Fabulous shower and a special bath in the bedroom!! <br/>Very comfy bed. <br/>Very peaceful even though it’s on the parade. Extremely easy parking that is free and right outside the premises. <br/>Excellent service from the host who promptly answered all our queries and questions. Shout out particularly to Charlie.<br/>We will now rent this apartment in the future as it is so beautiful and conveniently located. <br/>BRILLIANT

Nice views, art objects and spacious apartment.<br/><br/>The apartment was filthy, there was a dust everywhere on the decorations, inside the wardrobe, in the kitchen (the grease+dust accumulated on the kitchen cupboards), hair and filth in the bathroom. The apartment was also stone cold when we arrived, even though we have updated our arrival time on the booking. The apartment is quite big so it overnight to heat it up properly. We have also been contacted multiple times during our stay with the flat rules etc, instructions of how tidy to leave the flat after our stay and keep the noise to the minimum. Tbh, the flat was left cleaner than we found it at the beginning of our stay as the balls of old dust have triggered my allergies and I had to wipe around so I could sleep. The customer service has also been awful when contacted about the issue - they have offered 20% discount for our next booking trough there website which works out more expensive than booking trough here with my genius discount. When declined the offer, they promised to get back in touch with a different solution, however, I haven’t been contacted once for the past 5 weeks. Oh, and they added my email to their mailing list and keep sending me promos without me signing up (I used a different email to make a complaint to the one added to booking.com)

Thank you, we had a great stay in this beautifully decorated apartment.<br/>Lovely to wake up with a sea view!<br/>Responsive and caring host: We thought it was really nice that the host messaged us after we checked in to tell us that they heard there were building works happening in the apartment below, and that they hoped it didn't affect our stay. It didn't bother us at all, we were out all day and it was very peaceful in the evenings.<br/>We'd be keen to stay here again!

Beautiful location and apartment was stunning. Amazing views and well throughout furniture. Welcome gifts very thoughtful and good quality. Good heating, really comfy bed. Lots of space and near to Main Street and 5 mins to beach. All of it perfect. <br/>Only comment not so airbnb when you’re asked to pay for damage insurance either £10 or £25 and constant auto emails ruins the airbnb vibe of relaxed and trust. Eg a text at 9am to remind me I’m checking out at 10.

Lovely accommodation with a super view. There was a welcome pack of goodies on the table when we arrived, milk in the fridge, a great coffee machine and tea bags. A really great experience.

Truly stunning sea view apartment with magnificent views of Saltburn and beyond. Exemplary furnishings including a well stocked coffee machine. Cosy responsive heating and hot shower. Also delightful and romantic bathing whilst admiring the sea view. Loads of places to eat nearby and also a handy supermarket if you prefer to cook in the well laid out kitchen dining room. Free parking all along the promenade. Would highly recommend.
