The Space
Welcome to Upper House, our cherished family home—an ideal retreat for gathering family and friends.
Please note, there is an additional pet fee.
Our home features a cosy middle sitting room with a wood-burning stove and TV, two quiet offices for any work or laptop time, and a playroom for children and teens, complete with a babyfoot table and piano. The large kitchen/diner, with an AGA and wood-burning stove, boasts a table that comfortably seats 10.
Outside, you'll find a beautiful terrace perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining, featuring a BBQ and fire pit, all with breathtaking views! The garden furniture comfortably seats 8. The recently redesigned garden offers a hammock and croquet for added relaxation. There's also a second patio just outside the kitchen, with a small table and benches—ideal for kids’ meals or enjoying a sunset drink.
Full of character and charm, Upper House is a much-loved family space. It offers 5 bedrooms, including a Master suite with a private balcony and panoramic views. There are 3 bathrooms: a family bathroom with a roll-top bath and shower, an en-suite to the Master, and a shower room attached to the single bedroom.
For convenience, there's a practical utility area in the cellar, complete with a washing machine, drying rack, tumble dryer, large fridge-freezer, and a separate drinks fridge.
A porch area provides space for wellies and outdoor gear.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome—this is a walker’s paradise with lovely footpaths directly from the house.

Neighborhood
Tenbury Wells, a charming market town in Worcestershire, is nestled on the banks of the River Teme and often referred to as "The Town in the Orchard" due to its historic ties to apple growing and cider making. Its quaint streets are lined with independent shops, traditional pubs, and cafés, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Victorian Pump Rooms, an iconic building with unique architecture, is a highlight of the town and reflects its spa heritage.

Surrounded by rolling countryside, Tenbury Wells is a perfect destination for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits. Getting Around
Tenbury Wells is best reached by car, with the A456 and A49 providing direct routes to the town, and parking readily available for visitors. The nearest train stations are in Ludlow and Kidderminster, with buses and taxis connecting these hubs to Tenbury. Once in the town, its small size makes it ideal for exploring on foot. The surrounding countryside is best discovered by car or bike, with scenic drives and cycling routes taking you through the idyllic Teme Valley.
