We’d definitely recommend booking a table at The Bay Horse to avoid disappointment.

The French Quarter
Authentic French Food | Deli Shop | Newcastle City Centre
The French Quarter is a stylish restaurant founded by couple Cédric & Catherine Boc-Ho with the aim to challenge the perceptions that French dining can be formal and fussy. The restaurants offers a small-plate menu for a la carte and two courses for £16.95 or three courses for £20.95 on the lunch menu. The Camembert rôti isn’t to be missed and it doesn’t get better than their Jambon de Bayonne! They also have an incredible drinks menu where you can sample different wines or choose a delicious cocktail. We’d recommend the The Negroni ‘Français’ and you can’t go wrong with a French Martini!
Once you’ve enjoyed your romantic meal at the restaurant, you can head to The French Quarter Deli where you can buy your own cheese, charcuterie, pâtés, chutneys and wine to enjoy at home.
Valentine’s Day is fully booked for evening meals but there are currently tables available for lunch time so we’d recommend booking in advance if you’re hoping for a Valentine’s treat.
