Next up is a trip to Harrogate and Pannal Golf Club, which was founded in 1906 and has been entertaining golfing enthusiasts ever since. The club is steeped in history and features a bar, driving range, pro shop, trolley and club hire, as well as a restaurant on the grounds which serves a brilliant lunch.

It has hosted 23 successive European Tour Events in the 1970s through to the 1990s, and is ideally situated just a mile away from the centre of York.
