The Space
As you arrive at Firefly Spa Lodge, you'll pass through a private fenced garden with outdoor furniture, a gas firepit/BBQ, and a wood-fired hot tub and infrared sauna.

Inside, the spacious wooden cabin has cosy sofas and an indoor wood burner, ideal for winter evenings. The fully equipped kitchen includes a ceramic hob, gas oven, fridge, kettle, and toaster.

Attached is a bespoke pod with a super king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, featuring a large shower, flushing toilet, and wash basin.

Just a short drive from Thompson Hall Retreat is Thetford Forest, the largest lowland pine forest in Britain. The forest is ideal for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, horse riding, and even wildlife spotting. Go Ape, a popular treetop adventure course with zip lines and rope bridges, is located within the forest for thrill-seekers. The Peddars Way, part of the Norfolk Coast Path, is a historic walking route that passes near Thompson. It’s perfect for hikers and history enthusiasts, as it follows the route of a Roman road and offers scenic views of the countryside. Thetford itself is a historic town with several attractions, including; Thetford Priory, Dad's Army Museum, Thetford Castle and the Charles Burrell Museum. If you are looking to venture a little further away you can explore the ancient mines and learn about the prehistoric history of the region at Grimes Graves or enjoy a family day out at Banham Zoo; one of Norfolk’s top wildlife attractions. The Zoo is home to over 2,000 animals from around the world, including big cats, primates, and reptiles. If you are a foodie, the nearby villages and towns offer several traditional pubs where you can enjoy a hearty meal.

Getting Around
The retreat is easily accessible by car, located off the A1075, about 30 minutes from Norwich and 20 minutes from Thetford. There is parking available at the retreat, making it convenient for those traveling with their own vehicle.
The nearest train station is in Thetford, with regular services from Norwich, Cambridge, and London Kings Cross. From the station, you can take a taxi or drive to Thompson Hall Retreat, which is around 20 minutes away
